How 4 Feed-ins Work
4 Feed-ins are a cornrow-style feed-in braid arrangement where hair—natural and any added extensions—is integrated into four defined braids to achieve a shoulder-length finish. The finished look depends on your natural hair length, density and texture, plus the type of extension hair chosen; these factors determine thickness, parting definition, and how the braids sit against the scalp.
This shoulder-length service is intended to give a polished braid pattern without including hair in the base price. Because Studio 818 serves busy Sherman Oaks clients who often commute via Ventura Boulevard and the US-101, we craft an efficient, appointment-focused process so results match your daily routine and styling needs.
Appointment Length and Price
The standard appointment for 4 Feed-ins is 150 MINUTES and pricing starts at Starting at $140. That starting price covers the service only; extension hair is not included. If you need help selecting hair, contact us before purchasing so we can confirm the correct type, color, and quantity for your desired shoulder-length result.
If you’d like Studio 818 to purchase hair, the full hair cost plus a $25 shopping fee must be paid before we buy. Hair payments are nonrefundable once purchased. Plan your visit around your commute—our Sherman Oaks location on Ventura Boulevard is convenient for quick after-work or mid-morning appointments.
Hair Selection and Add-ons
Because hair purchase is separate, please message us before you buy extensions. Optional length add-ons are available: bra-strap length +$40, waist length +$80, and butt length +$150. Curly or boho styling after install is an optional add-on for +$60. Extra-thick or specialty hair may increase total cost; send a clear photo so we can confirm pricing before your appointment.
