Shoulder-length medium box braids
Medium box braids here are shoulder-length by default. The service starts at $250 and the appointment typically blocks 240 MINUTES to complete. Bring any extensions if you supply them; hair is not included. This time allows sectioning, braiding, and light shaping to reach the expected shoulder-length finish without added length add-ons.
Before buying hair, please contact us so we can confirm the correct type, color, and quantity. If you want us to purchase hair, the full hair cost plus a $25 shopping fee must be paid before purchase; hair payments are nonrefundable after purchase. Extra-thick hair may cost more—send a photo so we can confirm totals ahead of your appointment.
Knotless and box technique
This service sits in our Knotless & Box Braids category, so stylist choices will reflect either knotless starts or traditional box parting depending on your hair and goals. Expect careful sectioning and consistent braid size; because hair is not provided we work with the extensions you bring or with hair purchased through the studio.
Appointments are scheduled to fit Sherman Oaks' commuter patterns—many clients prefer after-work slots near Ventura Boulevard or mid-morning weekend times for school and family routines. Bring photos of the look and any extensions; clear communication before booking helps confirm timing, cost, and whether add-ons will increase the total appointment time.
Lengths, add-ons, and costs
Length add-ons are optional and priced separately: bra-strap length +$40, waist length +$80, butt length +$150. Curly or boho hair styling is available for +$60. These add-ons affect the final look and the appointment flow; hair purchase cost itself is separate from the service price.
If you choose studio hair purchase, pay the full hair cost plus the $25 shopping fee before we buy it; hair payments become nonrefundable at purchase. For extra-thick or specialty hair we may need to confirm pricing after you send a photo. Contact the studio before buying to avoid unexpected costs and scheduling changes.
