What the service includes
Half Head - Wash & Retwist covers cleansing the top/half-head area and a root retwist focused on the scalp line. The appointment targets the roots and new growth above the crown; a full-head service or a finished style is booked separately and is not part of this price.
During the session we address buildup at the roots, reharmonize parting patterns, and secure fresh twists at the base so the visible top half looks neat. Expectations should be limited to root maintenance — length shaping or elaborate finishes require additional time and may change the quote.
Pricing and length rules
Pricing starts at $110 for locs 5 inches or less; locs 10 inches or longer start at $120. The service is scheduled for 105 minutes. For lengths between 5 and 10 inches, we ask that you send photos for a quote before booking to confirm the final price.
Loc condition, diameter and count can change the time and materials required, which may alter the final quote. Because finished styling is separate, expect the posted starting prices to cover only the wash and root retwist for the top half of the head.
What to expect appointment-wise
Plan for a 105 minutes appointment focused on your top half: arrival, a consultation about growth and parting, a wash of the serviced area, and a root retwist. If you visit from nearby neighborhoods or commute via US-101 or Ventura Boulevard, quick after-work and weekend mid-morning slots are often available.
Before you arrive, send photos if your locs fall between the specified length ranges or if you have unusual density or damage. Because finished styling is not included, allow extra time or book a follow-up if you want shaping, length work, or a styled finish after the retwist.
