Photo consultation and assessment
Before booking, you must send clear photos so we can evaluate eleven to twenty existing locs remotely. Clear, well-lit images of the scalp, the full length of affected locs, and close-ups of the weakest areas let us estimate the work required and determine whether the repair is likely to succeed.
The photo review informs a preliminary quote and the final appointment plan. Reference starting price is $195; after we review photos, the final quote may be lower or higher depending on condition and work required. Wash, retwist, and styling are offered as separate services, not included in this repair price.
Scope of the repair work
A repair appointment focuses on securing and restoring the specified eleven to twenty locs based on the issues identified in the photo consultation. During the appointment we assess each loc in person and carry out targeted repair steps agreed beforehand. The goal is to stabilize weak spots and reintegrate damaged sections with the surrounding locs.
Because every head of hair differs, we tailor the approach during the on-site assessment. If repairs are unlikely to meet your expectations, we may recommend alternative services in the Loc Repairs, Reattach & Extensions category. The starting rate of $195 is just a reference; the exact cost reflects the locs' condition and the time required.

Appointments are scheduled for a 150 MINUTES session to allow a thorough in-person assessment and the repairs agreed from the photo consultation. Studio 818 Locs & Braids is located along the Ventura Boulevard commercial corridor in Sherman Oaks, making it convenient for commuters and nearby residents to book after-work or weekend mid-morning times.
